1. A "unit" is the size of your basic wager. As an example, if you are wagering only $5 units, 2 units would equal $10. If you are wagering $25 units, 2 units would equal $50.
2. A "shoe" is the name of the device that holds the cards. Each shoe in baccarat usually contains eight decks. Playing an entire shoe takes 45 minutes to one hour.
