A New Year's Resolution
As the old year draws to a close and the brand spakin’ new year rubs its tiny hands into its eyes, we stand on the brink of two abysses. On the one hand, we look back and know what “dreams” actually transpired in the past year... and even over our whole lifetime. And on the other hand, we gaze upon the noble adventure of the GREAT LANDSCAPE OF INFINITE POSSIBLILITES — THE NEW YEAR!
Being somewhat of a narrow ledge, it is a most excellent pivotal point to take stock, regroup, reevaluate and rethink before we leap into the unknown of the upcoming 12 months. Upon this ragged rock we have only time enough to ask THE BIGGEST QUESTION: WAS IT WORTH DOING? The answer to your cry returns to you in echoes... Become the BIGGEST you have in you to become.
After all is said and done, LIFE IS ACUTALLY VERY SIMPLE. The secret to true fulfillment and ultimate freedom lies in “the Path of Moderation.” Money and work were never meant to be your primary focus. Enjoying the things you already have, like the beauty-full day, the flowers and trees, your family and friends, your house and your car — all your toys!
So let’s make a New Year’s resolution to make these toys our priorities in 1998! Starting RIGHT NOW. Because there is no tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes. The New Year never came. Only TODAY keeps showing up at your door, hat in hand, in very plain, very simple, common clothes to tell you that there doesn’t have to be an abyss if you don’t want there to be.
